What do you use to attach the battery holder to the aluminum

I can't seem to think of what I should use that would be strong but not need to drill through to the other side to attach a screw and nut.

Solder doesn't seem like it would be strong enough over time.

Any good glues or substances that you find bonds metal to metal in a strong manner?  There is so much stuff at the hardware store I don't know where to start...and where I want to start is in the range of stuff NASA would use to fix the space shuttle if their budget got cut to about no more than $10 a bottle.

But if it would fix the space shuttle, then I might splurge a bit more.  ;)

I think Fulltone is coming out with their own line of epoxy

But, until they do, I just put in the stomp switch about 1" from the front edge of the enclosure and that makes it possible to just place (with zero static force on the switch) the battery right between the switch and the enclosure.

Ya I have seen that technique....but things change when you use the 1590BB enclosures.

#1 sounds promising.  I like that name.  Infact if I had stumbled on that I would have probably bought it becuase that name is perfect and leaves nothing to the imagination...well except a nice strong hold...

JB Weld was something I was considering...
