IMHO I thought that there were some highly usable sounds for $99.99 and when compared to some of the fuzz unit isn't a lot of money, At a guess I would assume that the rotary switch is a switcher for different cap values although  I'm sure the experienced (no pun intended!!!)   Guy's here would know but for the price not bad at all I thought.

I wouldn't mind having one either Torchy But and it's a BIG BUT is it going to be £52 in the UK or £99.99 which does not equate to $99.99 selling price in the US as thats usually what happens with some of the stuff that comes in, this is what  happened with Fender gear back in the 60's it was  priced way beyond the reach of the average musician and only the very few could actually afford to buy hence the reason it was Vox or Selmer amps and Burns or Hofner guitars all round in those days.

The thing that really annoys me is that if you buy from the USA it's bad enough that we get charged VAT when it enters the UK but theres a handling fee as well which pisses me off bigtime as the shipping has already been paid for so what is the handling fee for???

It's for "handling" the import papers !  ( 8% )
actually if you go that route it works out cheaper, in particular if you're VAT registered  :wink:
