Millennium 2 not working....help!

Hi guys, i just built the Mill 2 bypass for my pedal but it doesn't work...
instead of switching the LED from on to off, it switches it from less bright to more bright...
I've used 2N7000 FET and I'm sure i've connected all the components the right way.... could it be that i chose the wrong resistor values? (2k2 going to the LED and 8k2 to control)
