This has great reviews and is very resonable price-wise. I've never done a transfer, but I would imagine even 300 dpi would be fine for a minimum resolution.

Looks good for a buck forty.  The cheapest I saw at OfficeMax was $99 for a Brother...not sure if I'ld go there. Next one up was an HP similar to the one in the above link for about the same price.

Karmasound, do you want to layout transfers or graphics or both? True, you can take a good inkjet printout to the local copy shop and get a laser version. Or take it in on disc and go straight from digital.

Inkjet transparency paper just seems iffy - it's textured so the ink adheres, not sure if it's coated film or just exactly what. But if you're doing board transfers you need laser.

Then again, for boards you could use photo resist, and use inkjet printouts and UV exposure...

Ok, today I went to Staples and bought the HP. It's the one that I posted the link to earlier in the thread. I will have to get the PNP Blue.

I was wanting to do some graphics to. I have an inkjet I can use and go to a copier place if I need to.

What programs do you all use for graphix?

I have been drawing my pcb's by hand but after getting 50/50 results, and spending more time drawing than building, I broke down an went with the transfer.

of course the Laser Printer is better , but many users only have inkjet ... so injeck is better than a draw bay hand and a pen maker hehe!
