Hi.

I have been using the millenium bypass since i started building about a year ago and i have noticed that sometimes the led will flicker on and off when the effect is bypassed.

I THINK that i have found what conditions cause this, but what i am looking for is an easy fix or any other suggestions.

what i BELIEVE is causing it is if the output from and opamp or anythign else is going rail to rail tehn the led will flicker as if that signal is turning on and off the led.

For example. say i make something with the PT2399. Only i want to make it so the feed back exceeds 1. AND i have the timing pot too large to get those extra moments of delay even though it generates some hiss. In this situation the pedal will make noise even with no input signal. If the gain is over one eventually the output signal will start clipping rail to rail through the output buffer.

with a millenium bypass the light flickers. with a 3pdt the light does not.

has anyone had similar experiances? can someone explain why this is happening?

any help is appreciated

scott.

Hey there slotbot! Just had a similar problem and fixed it with a 100k resistor in series before the diode going into the millenium configuration. Just wanted to post so if anyone has the same issue they can find the answer!
