 I can still use mine for Resistance, but voltage is a %age thing with it...9v battery's have said 13+V for a long time [yes I changed the battery...it's '' 'Funkay...

I just bought a new one from "Mastech" for about 12 bucks, it has :
DC voltage check
AC voltage check
DC current
Resistance
hfe checker
diode checker
"Hold" function for displaying the value for longer
operates up to 1000v DC and 750v AC with "fast blow fuse protection"
( I;m glad to have that, it better had be fast !! not with 9v battery though eh )
Its the most useful item after the soldering iron ( perhaps before ! )

I bought a similar one for $5.99 that worked great for 6 months and then suddenly died, but for $5.99, you couldn't beat it, and I definately got six bucks of value out of it.
