Ridiculous. You can't make it yourself any cheaper.

The wah might be a good candidate for a shell.

Wow.

I like the way that the LEDs are mounted on the front of the wah. The prices for the stompboxes are hard to believe!

If nothing else, buy it for the box, jacks, and switch. I still maintain I like my little behringer recording mixer. No matter what you may think of them or their shady techniques, it's a nice little unit.

I've heard the enclosure is plastic.

..wow...I wonder what the chorus is like...My boss CE-2 got stolen a while back and I've been thinking of building a new one, but at that price it would be hard just to get the BBD's...

even if the enclosure is plastic, you still got the jacks, mounted led, and switch.  So if you don't like the effect, you cuold always just use it for that.  I don't see anything wrong with a durable plastic enclosure.  It's not like you stand directly ontop of the pedals anyway, you just press them with your foot

Woah thats not bad. I still like to rip open them Rouge wah pedals to use for a shell

I really like my behringer gm108.  :)  I will probably buy some of these pedals.

Now if they could just come up with a good sounding germanium fuzz face for $10!

Funny, an hour from my house there once was a great effects company that couldn't stay competitive with the new, cheap, foreign made pedals like Boss.

I was thinking after my first reply above that they must have plastic enclosures for that price - kinda like those Rogue wannabes...  :(

No you don't stand on top of them, but the bass player with size 13 Doc Martens does!   If you play small stages, you can count on your your stompboxes getting STOMPED on. When things get rough, an Ernie Ball volume pedal can fend off all manner of hostile foes. A solid head blow with a plastic enclosure just doesn't pack the same wallop, and merely annoys the recipient. Of course the plastic enclosure invites cosmetic reworking with a torch for a *custom finish*.

I like my Vox wah for beating off the baddies. My added Q control could poke an eye out. I used a metal knurled knob. Looks really cool on the wah though.

you might have to de-solder jacks & "digiswitch" from the PCB, first,
to put it into a new PCB... (?)

I wonder what the prices are in Buenos Aires. Maybe they will have some when we get there in 2 weeks!

They could be a goldmine of modding potential.

Whale of a dealers dream/nightmare...
We must be tallking about jacks in PCB...too cheep not to have that...
If the modulations and reverb stuff is decent at all, I'd probly get a reverb or echo, since I use "em all the time, I'd just hard mount the thing to protect it from normal use.
