A few pics of the neovibe waiting for paint work, the board came from GGG, photocells from smallbear and the rest from mouser. I think it sounds KILLER. Everyone should have at least one, It sounds better than any reissue I've heard and less expensive! I also did do the speed mod for the 4.7K resistors to 2.2K and now its got that "any colour you like" effect. I love it. :D

I really enjoyed the end product of the Vibe and want to build more effects. I was thinking about a distortion or two. Maybe the Rodent or the BSIB II. Needs to be something really *CRUNCHY*, from what I read on the forums about rat tweaks, LED's might be what Im looking for. I would like suggestions and get builders experiences with some of these pedals.
Thanks

That looks wonderful, I love the separate foot control.  What kind of enclosure is that?  I really like the look of it.
I finished my Neovibe a while ago, and just today I got around to adjusting R35 and R36 for a good wet/dry mix.  I'm really pleased with it.  I can't give advice on the Rat or the BSAIB, but anyway, great stuff!

The foot pedal is a Dunlop GCB-95 Wah that had issues with the pot, so, instead of fixing it I recycled it

The enclosure is a 537-MDC752-01 off of Mouser.com.

I would recommend the BSIAB II  totally ! its a fine "hi-gain" pedal  :D
Also just built a YJM308 ( hi gain DOD250 clone ) from "Fuzz Central" thats got a fantastic hard "bright" tone as well - recommended !

Can you elaborate on the resisitor mods? Or is there info about it somewhere on GEO or something?
Thanks,
Greg

I found it in the forum somewhere, he replaced R42,R43 with 2.4K instead of the usual 4.7K resistors. the shack had 5% 2.2K so I stuck those in. It picked up the max speed just enough to get a good Leslie at the high setting sound. It also seemed to spread out the control of speed better when rotating the pot, it seemed kind of more at one end of the pot before the mod
