RAT 2 to Vintage RAT

How do I mod my RAT 2 (the one w/ the LED) to Vintage RAT specs?  What are the differences in the circuit?

I'm not really interested in "RAT Mods" necessarily, just how to modify the RAT 2 to Vintage RAT specs.

I've A/B tested a Rat II and an Vintage Rat and did a quick examination of both padads interior. There is to my knowledge no real difference between the two. They sound exactly the same and are mounted on the same PCB (there's even empty solder points for the LED in the Vintage Rat). According to http://www.happybob.com/rstrand/rat/rat_versions.htm the only differense might be the buffer cicuit.
