I dont see alot of threads around here bout those. Im building the mxr one from tonepad and own a boss nf-1 ( i think its called if i remember-made in japan.)

Anyone building any? opinions bout the mxr one?

Hi.
I've built the MXR noisegate clone at tonepad.  It works fine.  But most of the noise I get is from my amp, not my guitar or pedals, so it's not as useful as I thought it would be.

I've built the MXR from Tonepad too, but I had jimbob's opposite problem: all the noise came form the guitar, so for me it's a MUST-HAVE effect!!!  :D
