Schaller Rotor Sound - any info? - I'm about to buy one.

RickL

I've got one, what do you want to know?

It's a Univibe'y' sounding phase shifter. There are a couple of trim pots inside that can be adjusted to optimize the sound although I've never been able to get mine to sound as good as another example I had a chance to play with. I've never seen the multipin bypass switch so if yours has one I wouldn't mind knowing how it's wired.

Sad story  :(  : I got mine by trading an almost mint Jax Vibrachorus straight up for it many years ago. You see I wanted a real chorus and the Schaller said chorus on it...

How does it sound? I know it's hard to describe but is it more like a Small Stone or an Univibe (or something else - or completely unuseful)?

I had one. It's pretty ok, if you expect Univibe instead of chorus ;)
Not stompable, rather noisy but cool nonetheless.

I also have a Schaller at home - just that it's dead unfortunately.
A schematic is warmly welcome...

Cheers.

I`ve got the schem, I`ve got a picture...

here`s the picture (of a part of the schemo archive, which contains the schem - sorry, no time to search, currently):
