Duplicolor chrome & gold finish: any experience?

I just found this product browsing around:

Does anyone has experience using this as a finish for pedals?

Would a gold boost  be too much bling?

Would the chrome paint work in an amp chassis?

It rubbed off the feet of my bathtub pretty quick... but with a thick hard clearcoat I bet it would be pretty neat...

the clear coat takes forever +1 to dry... I've never tried baking it since I heard that the clear gets yellow.

Does that chrome stuff look any more like chrome, than the supposed chrome sprays that have been available from other companies ?

I tried one years back that wasn't quite chrome.....more of a silver.
