Everyone seems to agree that a baked enamel box looks great and dries faster, but I don't have a disposable toaster oven handy. How do unbaked boxes turn out? Do they look noticeably worse? Are they less chip resistant?

I've never baked, and my boxes turn out ok.

Well, I think I actually did once at a 311 concert, I was _surrounded_ by joints...

I do several coats bakng and then a triple thick clear coat at the end. Believe it or not they turn out ok.pl

I use a set of 75W flood bulbs and a protable light fixture - I like this even better then a toaster oven - just vary the distance (from 1" to 10") to control the heat.  :D

I use 1 blub/fixture per box - works great....
