Hi
I try to fix my ea tremolo i've made from GGG.
The sound goes through but there's no trem effect at all. only a clean boost. I've try as i saw in the forum to change the pinouts of Q2
i use 2n5457 as Q4 and Q2 and 2N3904 as Q1 and BC 560 as Q3
I've check my cap
I'm wondering if it 's not because i use ceramic capacitors.
I'M GOING MAD
It's not my first project i've done dozen of fuzz and tremolos ???!!!
What's going on ?
Please HELP ME
Sorry for my bad english !!

if i remember correctly, then my problem was a cold solder joint at the speed pot.  but i guess this is not much help, is it?

i built a few from the ROG layout....one of them had this problem....turns out i had the LED (pulsing LED mod) wired backward (pos to neg, neg to pos) ....switched 'em, instant tremolo....

its always something simple....and stupid :D

Thanks. I've check every solder !!!
I didn't put the led but idon't think it's really important to make it work.
Something i didn'nt notice is that i put a 0.047uF instead of a0.05 uF on the input but i think it should be ok !!??

values that close wont make a bit of difference....

have you double checked the polarities of any electrolytic caps ?

what voltages are you reading at the transistors ?

check the "what to do when it doesnt work" thread at the top of this forum...it'll tell you the info we'll need for troubleshooting...and as you gather that info, you will probably learn a ton about troubleshooting for yourself :)
