You guy's really are DIY, don't even follow directions

His host (like many free ones) doesn't allow direct links to files... presumably so people won't just use their space to host files, like we all do anyways :)

j0shua

as NABO says you need to read heheheheheheheheheheh

i put 2 times "PLEASE COPY & PASTE "  lol!

j0shua

so no coment's, mods or sugestions??????

ninoman123

I read schematics, chemical equations, and quadratic formulas. Simple sentances are last on my list.

Looks like the Black Rain's bypass transistor needs to be flipped 180 degrees. You want the power to go into the emitter, its going to the collector on yours. Also on the Black Rain...and correct me if you think this is wrong, but shouldnt u have somewhere like a 2k or 1k for the gain on the 386. I think the most useful range on those is with a 1-2k. At least in my experience. All of your other pedals use 2ks. Octomonster looks good.

... I like your drawings  8)

to Ninoman123:

yes 1 or 2 K for Gain pot .... 5k was error ...thanks, and the Transistor is now fixed .... thanks!

j0shua

to Nabo: thanks .... :)

remember any mod or idea is wellcome :) i like to share my draws , i hope to build those things on weekend

demo sound come :)

j0shua

ok guys better to see here :) and check my new BIG BANG BOOSTER

Easy to build sound demo tomorrow

enjoy

j0shua

ooops    i forgot the link heheheheh

what program are you using to create your schematic/pcb board look?

thanks.  antonio.

Joshua...

in your BigBang boster drawing, it shows a switch going between 2 input caps....but you have both labelled as .01uF, so it wouldnt matter which way it was switched, it'd sound the same....

you might consider something like a .0068 (similar to a rangemaster (.0047) on one side, and somewhere between a .01-.1 for the other...or even better, either a "blend" (like Gagans easy face), or rotary....

also, is it biasing with the 560k off the emitter ? normally in a circuit like this, which is essentially a LPB circuit, you'd see someting like a 220 ohm-560 ohm, depending on the sound desired...especially with a 10k to collector. You could also use a 1k pot instead of a resistor off the emitter....and even a electro cap off lug 2 of the pot, like a FF would ude...it'd give you far more boost capabilities, and in the "upper levels" of boost, probably overdrive quite nicely....

just some thoughts...

OHHHH  I FORGOT TO PUT LOL.... OTIGINAL VALUES ARE 0.33uf AND 0.68uF

LOL.....

Thanks Andy

BTW check the others effects..... octave-dst. works in theory , and blackrain is 2K on DRIVE POT NOT 5K

j0shua

Ok guys this is de sound demo of the booster
