That's the coolest Erik!  Nice lookin' finish on it!  My only advice would be to post in the main forum.  This isn't at all OT!

Props to Erik for being a little antsy about bragging.  Shows maturity.

Funny, isn't it how people can one minute make a big deal of some specific issue of a pedal and diss all others, then the next moment they make a big deal about the one that everybody worked so hard to forget about.

That's not a comment about Erik or his pedal, but about how fickle and dumbassed the vintage and boutique market can be.  I guess these are the same folks who will scour E-bay to score one of those curly cords just like Hendrix used.  You know, the ones that SUCKED TONE BIG TIME for so many years?  One minute, it's a piece of crap, and the next minute it becomes an essential part of one's arsenal.  Go figure.

Me, I'm waiting for folks to rediscover how fabulous the CBS-era silverface Fenders were....and they WILL, one of these days.

Sry this seems like high jacking but I've thought about what Mark said, and he has a point. People think that just because something is "vintage" it sounds good. I'd rather not buy an old stompbox thats unreliable and crusty, so I'm glad Erik's pedal whooped those vintage Big Muff PIs

Good job Erik! Keep kicking vintage ass

But is what I'm doing still "Building my own stompbox?" :-)

Not the first time in my life that I've let a hobby get out of hand.

I still get that thrill of creation every time I do final test on a Crucible or ICBM.

That line from Miguel Ferrer in RoboCop as he's putting the finishing touches on the RoboCop: "You're gonna be one bad mother****er!"

It looks like you just need to add an external power jack, and everyone would be completely satisfied.

Anyhow, congratulations are in order! Good job. Are those silkscreened graphics on the enclosure?

Yes, I do it in my basement. There was a thread a year or two ago where I described the process and showed photos of my screening rig.

A table saw comes in handy.

Thanks for the kind words. The information and encouragement I've gotten here have been invaluable.
