I'm looking for the larger rubbery knobs that were used on MXR's and DOD's - the kind that could be turned with your foot. Anybody got a line on these?

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure Small Bear has them. (smallbearelec.com)

If Steve is out, I can probably get them.

Tubes and more has them but they are expensive. Just search MXR.

If you want to roll your own, start with a rubber doorstop
The key is, to arrange things so that if you get excited and stamp on the knob, it slides down the pot shaft and is stopped by the box, so you don't get that Boss "stamped the pot thru the board" effect.

people are always selling them on ebay.... ALWAYS.  they are essential mojo for MXR pedals, some people even label the old ones 'vintage', because as we all know: old rubber clumps are SOOOOOO much more desirable and functional than the newer ones.

Thanks, guys. Been awhile since I looked at one and forgot it was just a cover. Hmmm. I'm thinking those look suspiciously like the RatShack knobs with a rubber boot. Might be time for a trip to the auto parts store.
