I guess that these might fall under a guitar tec question but  dose anyone know how t build one I did found an article saying that it was just two back to back schottky diodes but no values given.

Any low power (=cheap) Schottkys will do, e.g. BAT31, BAT35 etc.

Long before StewMac I tried OA91

usable but not as smoth as Schottkys
