Silly question (Dr. Boogey-related)

Has anyone used my Dr. Boogey PCB/parts layout and had ZERO problems with it?
I'm having the squeal/whine and I'm wondering if it's due to the parts being too close together. I may try another layout that's not quite as compact so the parts have some 'breathing room.'
I have high hopes for this pedal.

also... try to put the offboard connections to one side of the pedal. i am a bit of a neatfreak about that.  :oops:
