Is it good practice to isolatethe input and output jacks from the enclosure? Assuming the enclosure is a hammond BB box.

Thanks,

It's good practice to isolate all but one of the jacks, though in reality there's rarely a problem with leaving the jacks unisolated.  But one jack's ground should always be connected to the enclosure so that it acts as a shield.

I've been using isolated jacks exclusively lately.  I tie all my grounds together and run a dedicated ground line to a lug that's riveted to the enclosure.
Passive sucks.
