Convert log pot to linear?

I bought a pot today, with a built in SPDT switch, and I was hoping to use it to control a motor. It actually works, but the pot doesn't turn the motor unless its turned quite close to high, and then it goes up very quickly.

This is probably really nitpicky of me, but I'd like to try if its even possible to turn this pot into a linear pot, so each turn gives the motor more power evenly. Is it even possible?
