the phase 90 schematic request posting finally pushed me to get my question out there.  first time posting - my wife is not to excited about me finding this forum...anyways...

I tried to install the 3PDT into my MXR Phase 90 reissue.
I cut the board to make it fit and wired it up.  Bypasses fine but when the effect is on the signal is cut in half.  The led works as it should(which I changed to blue).

I have a pic of my board and a schematic I found.  I am not familiar with reading them and maybe the answer is right there.

thanks for your help

The link doesn't work. It takes me to your sign in. Double check to see that you have the "public" sharing option set.

sorry about that.  I changed it to public viewing.

Check the component side of the pcb - there's a trace that goes from left to right, right in front of where the old switch was (between the switch and the current limiting resistor for the LED). There was a white "box" marking the location for the old switch - if you cut beyond that box, you might have cut that trace off.

Also, IIRC the effect output wire (B) should be moved to the other side of that resistor (in your pic, move it down to the lower leg). At least that's where the original pcb trace to the switch starts.

I will check that trace out tonight.  I orginally had (B) on the other side but started to move things around when it didn't work.

Bravo!  that was it.  I left the white box when I cut but the trace was actually inside of it.  I moved the effect out and put a switch on R28 to toggle between block and script.  ready to go.  thanks
