I ordered some caps/transistors from ESR last week, they arrived the next day.
There were some large "cream" 1uf's smaller 220n 100n 47n and 10n....
there also seemed to be some 1n's ( 30 ) which I didn't order.... so......

Since then I've built a "Tychobrahe Fuzz" ( Dragonfly's ) and an old "Tan"
Ross distortion.
They were sounding "wierd" ... sort of "boomy" and "woolie" causing me
to try out some cap changes, ignoring the "tiny blue" 1n's that I had
"aquired"....
Yup you guessed, they are 1uf's !!!
So I was using caps 1000 X the required size, but these things are tiny
they are smaller than my WIMA 10n caps ....

So, problem solved and a VERY good score eh ?
OK, it wasn't "THAT" funny ....
