i read in some old post that someone had a pcb for the ada flanger using the sad1024 chip but all the links were dead... does any one know where i can find one?

gorohon

I remember something about an unconfirmed PCB for one with the 512's.  It was a zip file done in powerpoint or something.  All I know is that I was able to get the PCB but not the parts layout, so I have no idea how it all goes onto the PCB.  This was on this site about a year ago, so search, search, search!!! :)

I have the info you need on one of 400 floppy discs! I'll have some time in a couple of days to dig it out.

yop, it's full of everything (shematic and parts list, only need a mn3010) but is it the third/reissue type of flanger (like in the commercial in the archive) or the second (first were with SAD1024 inside isn't it?)?

Bill Bergman

the layout is in the powerpoint format. I traced it from a picture of an actual ADA flanger, not for the SAD1024 mod.

i'll trace a layout myself just for fun and post it (4 perfboarders)...

Cool...I could use a nice Flanger !!!

Re: SAD1024 PCB layout

Give Steve Giles a call - tell him I sent you.
Regards, Mike (revised Bill's layout to use an SAD1024 instead of MN3010)

marrstians

hey steve... did you ever find that floppy disk?

StephenGiles

Not yet, but I've still got about 200 to go. Just hang on there, I will find it.

I stuck all the relevant info from the MN3010 version of the ADA Flanger into a PDF file, including the toner transfer and parts layout. A bit more convenient than all the individual files. Thought I would share my work.

Here it is.

I dug around a bit and found this...
ADA Flanger w/ SAD1024
Stephen - Is this your most recent drawing of Mike's scheme, or have there been any changes made since then?

Thanks

As far as I can see, that is the most recent drawing which is correct and works very well. I've located the new PCB layout in a zip file. Who do I send it to?

I'll gladly do the honors if you send it my way.
