Alright... another A/B w/ DPDT

I've seen all these Fulltone sans 3PDT and LEDS, but I don't get it... How do I do this thing without a 3PDT and LEDs?  All I want is a simple, A/B box, damn near no circuitry;  3 jacks, ONE DPDT, NO BATTERY.  How the hell?  Am I just Dumb?

Just use the Fulltone picture, use a DPDT switch, don't worry about the LED or power, and pretend the 3 lugs on the right of the 3PDT switch in his photo don't exist.

I've so tried that...  I can't seem to draw it out; I really think I'm retarded!
Anyway, If I can manage to do this, will It still ground the unused output?
