I've been playing with Johan's LA-Light on the breadboard, and decided to see if I could tweak the sidechain to make it work at 9 volts (anyway, that's where I started - I ended up in a somewhat different place). The results look pretty good in my simulator, but that's as far as I've gotten - anybody want to proof-read the V0.1 schematic and tenative layout and offer criticisms/comments? It's just the working circuit, both power supply and switching are "left as an exercise for the reader", if you will. Any feedback would be appreciated, since it may be a while before I have time to breadboard this up.

Let me say again that this is purely experimental at this point, and hasn't been built, so don't rely on the schematic or the layout for accuracy, and let me apologize in advance for the layout - I'll try to work up something pretty once I've finalized the design. Oh, and a huge thank you to Johan Blomdahl for sharing the LA-Light in all its incarnations!  :D

I'll surely take a look at this one, I don't have a 5C2 though, so I have to use a 5C4.

Actually the 5C4 might be a better candidate, since it's a bit slower and has a bit more dynamic range - the 5C2 is what I've got on hand.  :D
Thanks for taking a look.
