Hi
I have built a tranisistor based pedal which works fine I now want to buld a simple op amp one. I had tried but it didn't work I was using an lm741.
I wanted to know if I could break it down a bit and just build an op amp circuit  non inverting or inverting with out anyother parts. because I spend 3 hours putting together a distortion circuit but then it doesn't work and iam not sure if I have got the op amp part right i believe suppying power to the little buggers isn't as easy as it seems. if any one has a basic schem or info would be appreciated.
thanks ferg

a simple op amp buffer is what you're probably after. A lot of op amp data sheets already have such a circuit included. Otherwise, I'm sure you'll find one if you poke around here a bit.
