Here is the pattern, which is a start. I don't have parts placement but perhaps someone has an echoflanger to take it a stage further.

Oh, Coool!!! I love those old pcbs with curvy traces. Looks a lot like the E Mistress.

Your a god send!

I have been staring at the Schem for months wondering just how on earth I am going to design a PCB for it.......

Now.....if we can get someone who owns one to do a parts layout....Toneman??

It has markings for the IC's on it, with the schem, it might be possible to figure out  the rest of the components..... :)

I do hope there is alot of interest in this one. The whole reason I got into DIY effects was this pedal. The sounds this circuit produces are awe inspiring.

don`t you hate sometimes, the way people draw/label switches?

I'm glad it will be of use, the zerox copy had been in my EH folder since I did EH UK accounts back in 1980, as have probably 90% of the EH circuits I have. I was pleased with the digital photo I took after cleaning it up with Paintshop Pro.

I thought it was a scan.....

There is a cut off trace between pin8 on both SAD1024's (bottom right) I have drawn that back in. I am working to clean it up for PNP use......

If I am lucky and hold the camera still enough it can look like a scan. I really don't have room for one - my PC (formerly my wife's virus infected 300MHz Pentium II) is balanced on the wooden platform around the cold water tank in our attic - not ideal!!!

I would like some sort of rig which would enable me to stand the camera upright and hold the paper being photographed vertically - If anyone has any ideas I'd be grateful.

Have you got a helping hand? you could just sit the camera on a table have the helping hand perched on top of a pile of books and have the helping hand hold the paper......

or some other improvised jig...

Wow...
this is a big daddy of a pedal build!!!
I've started to hand draw the schem again, as some of the markings are a little unclear....
Can I be a cheeky git and try and get a better scan of the second page??

I'll try and get an upload of my redraw when poss (i have to use the library for internet at the mo...)

Cheers
Sam

Just an update on my progress cleaning up the PCB traces I am about a quarter of the way through *yay*  . It is a painstakingly slow process.....

Bill, you did this for the Dlx Elec Mistress, Have any tips?

Paul,
I screen traceced a photo of the pcb in MS PowerPoint. I do graphic/drafting for an occupation so it's pretty eazy for me. By tracing the image I re-draw it in vector rather than raster image which produces a cleaner, crisper image and then I deleted the photo from the background.

Bill,

I was thinking of doing exactly the same thing.......I am 1/3rd of the way through now so if it doesnt look *as* good as your redraw by the time I am finished I will try it using vector, perhaps in Visio or fireworks....

It is looking good so far :)

Thanks

If anyone is interrested in helping me out with some questions, there is another topic about bypassing an Echoflanger
