Problem with Fasel Inductor

I purchased a Fasel inductor from you several months ago.  I think something is wrong with it.   I installed it in my Crybaby and it wahed by
the sound was very thin/reedy.  

Plunked the original inductor back in and the wah worked fine.

I think I might have gotten a bad one or something.

I did try and email you on this but, for whatever reason, got no reply.

I'm sure not trying to be accusatory, I know you're an absolutely
stand up guy and you run an incredible site.
