Hi I want to make my echoflanger true bypass, it uses a Carling 1PDT  http://www.musikding.de/product_info.php?cPath=33_43&products_id=459footswitch I think, it looks identicall to one of these. It's only wired on the the two lugs(?) next to each other.
My question is how to wire a 3PDT so it becomes true bypass? I'm not an expert on these things, but I do know a little.

Also I read an old topic about momentary switches and I found thishttp://www.musikding.de/product_info.php?cPath=33_43&products_id=495. Do you know if this is an push "ON-OFF-ON" swithch or if it only lets the "signal(wet signal)" thrue when it is beeing held down? I wanna install this also on the echoflanger. I need some help with this also.

Ps. It doesn't say in or out on the PCB board, only GRN. There is a english flag on the linkpage

Thanks for all your help

I really can't let this go, "true bypassing a Echoflanger" - maybe a slip on the keyboard - should be "an Echoflanger". Some one will be upset I suppose.......

though this language is not my mother`s tongue,
it "EEEKED" me, too...
(but I chose to remain silent, so as not to be accused of "beertoken-hunting")

If you take detailed photos of the component and trace side of the board and ALL offboard connections, not only will we be able to advise you how to true bypass it, we will be able to put the final pieces of our puzzle together for cloning this unit.

So how about it? :D

Actually, I just saw the topic about the PCB. My only problem is that I don't have any places to host the pictures. But I would love to help out. As many pictures of the pedals as you want.

I just wanna say something to people that complained about my writing. I'm 16 years old and live in Europe, my head language is Danish, pretty far from English.
I'm so sorry that I made a mistake, you couldnt cope with.

Actually your English is so good that I thought you were English! - no offence intended at all. There are many folks in our town of Croydon, 20 km south of London whose English is so bad that it is difficult to understand them, and they are spoiling our language.

Thats allright.
If you are interrested in the Echoflanger photos like the others, I have found a page to host pictures. So sometime today I will have them hosted. Some of the pictures aren't that good but just tell me what you want and I will post them.

and: don`t take it too serious or personal at all...

For true bypassing this baby:

1-cut the wire that goes to the footswitch, and connect it permanently to ground (that way,the 4053 pin 2 is connected to pin 15,fx is on)

2-cut the wires from the input and output jacks(those now are fx in and fx out)

3-replace the spdt switch with a 3pdt or 2pdt + millenium bypass

Maneco

BTW,thanks for all the effort in scanning and picturing this pedal...i wonder if this one is similar to the polychorus...Robin Guthrie from Cocteau Twins told me that he used to have one  polychorus, modified, that was his secret weapons in their first records, amazing examples of guitar textures...
