ce-2 chorus vibrato bypass mod not 100%...

Hi all,
I did ce-2 vibrato mod as per topic here:

I used a 2sk118.  the bypass works fine in vibrato mode, however I don't get vibrato effect, just the same chorus effect as when it is switched off (chorus mode).
When I remove the 2sk118, I get the vibrato effect but no bypass in vibrato mode (obviously).

Question I have do I wire the FET and wires to each ends of the spst switch? B/c I wired it to one end and the middle lug of the spst switch

ok I realised I soldered wires in wrong place. 47k r21 remains intact on board, but remove the jumper b/w r21 and pin2 of ic2 and solder wires there.
Wired up dpdt method, o.k bypass in both but switching b/w chorus and vibrato there is no change in effect, just stays in chorus mode.

any pointers??

Oh man, I thought I removed that schematic.  The one you linked to is for the CH-1.

I have a CH-1, not a CE-2, but I've done the delay range and ring modulator mod to it and it sounds great now.  The delay range mod I highly recommend if you want to thicken up the sound by increasing the value of C10 (CH-1) or C22 (CE-2).

The Chorus/Vibrato mod isn't worth doing.  You'll read about why in that section.

I believe one guy has done it.
I've done it but to me it doesn't work. wiring it you don't get the vibrato effect when you switch back and forth, you just get chorus effect.
