Does anyone know if the 1048 can be subbed for anything...it kinda looks like the ca3094....which in turn could be subbed for a ca3080 plus darlington thingy or maybe a 13600/13700???

just wondered as this might be up for cloning if i can sub with available parts....And also, is this 1 or two octs down??

Alternately,does anyone have a schem for the new (not deluxe) version??? :roll:  :lol:  :oops:

Somewhere out there, I saw a listing posted which had actual part equivalents for a variety of E-H "house numbers" on components.  I believe that EH1048 was a 3094, and if not that a 3080, but 3094 would be my first guess.

There is a link in the FAQ forum that has all the EH in house humbers. It is two octaves down, with the "sub octave" switch (I think).

I was thinking it was a ca3094...
And i now you can use a 3080 plus two trannies to get the equivalent...
and I THINK you can get the same with a 13700 (as the 3080 is being killed off...makes me think they stop making these chips because of diyers like us...!!)
to all the daddy's od diy out there,Do you think this is possible??
If so (using the 13700 and maybe a few tweaks??), i'm gonna have a crack at it,as I'm on a mission to get as many phat octavers as i can!!! (i need to do this to complement my filter fetish!!!)....
