Guys? Can the BBLender work as an fx loop on a guitar amp? After the preamps of course.

Yes, if you want a parallel FX loop.

Thanks very much. That solved kind of a problem. :D

Another question - any chances to run bblender at 24v with an easy way?

Yes, depending on the opamp. If you use the TL072, the bblender can be run at up to 36V.

Just use a DC power supply and connect the +24 where you see the +9 and the ground as normal. The voltage is automagically split properly. Just make sure all your caps are at least 25V.

Most DC power supplies will not be happy with the low current draw of the bblender. I would recommend adding a voltage regulator, but it is not required.

Why do you want to use 24V?

My preamp's going to be powered with 24v - preamps are powered that way and i don't want to make a mess with the supplies.

That is a good reason. Does your preamp use a split +/-12V, or just 24?

Single 24v

Perfect. Ignore the bit about the regulator. Should just work great.

Thanks. Anyway, I was in a hurry so i couldn't answer everything like I wanted to. So...
I'm building a 2-channel preamp, and I want to power everything from single 24v because both channels are desired to be run on... single 24v - that's logical. And I don't want to make a mess with another psu inside the box, so I was asking - thanks REALLY much for the answers.
I also want to put channel and loop(blender) on/off switching circuits, but since relays are avilable for many voltages it shouldn't be a problem. If everything goes like it should, there will be a single 24v psu with a voltage regulator of course, so it solves another problem.
Thanks for the help!

Could one of you guys please show me how to wire in a phase inverter switch on the schematic? I've had a look at the runoffgroove but I can't the seperate phase switch section on the schematic. Problem is, I'm working on a wounded paw blender which has a volume and blend control, in, out of course, send, return and an extra output for expression or tuner etc.....only thing I'm missing is a phase switch. Any help would be HIGHLY  appreciated cause I've been researching on this forever! If it helps, the blender I'm has the TL074IC which appears to be 4 TL072's in one IC pretty much. Thanks alot guys!

Have you checked R.G's polarity reverser article?

http://geofex.com/article_folders/polarity_reverser/polarity_reverser.htm

From this it seems a the polarity switching section starts just after jfet  in the green return.

However, I'm ready to be corrected by someone more knowledgeable than myself.

I have considered adding this to a B.Blender myself. I wanted blend some clean bass with the Bazz Fuzz, but it sounded terrible, and someone suggested that I should reverse the polarity.

Regards

Carsten
