on my quest for the ultimate and most versitle wah ive decided upon these  but im open to more suggestions-
Quote
Im using external pot for these instead of trimmers
1. Gain-50K-pot (R1b). This gives, together with the 22K, the original 68 K for the
input resistor. Lowering the value gives more gain and a bit more bass.
This pot can be used to make the wah uni-gain or to give a small volume
  boost.

2. 'Saturation'-5K-pot (R2). This replaces the 1K5-resistor. To my ears it gives
more mid/saturation when raising the value. Go easy on this one or the
  sound will get to muddy.

3. Q-50K-pot (R7b). The original 33K is still in place. Changes the the Q of the
filter. Raising this pot gives a more peaky wah sound.

4. 'Honk'-1K-pot (R4). This replaces the original 510/470 Ohm-resitor. Lowering
this one gives more 'Honk' to my ears.

from GGG site

5. a capasitor selection switch (2p5t) from rat shack

6. Selection of 1 of 2 inductor or 2 inductors in series Switch.

7. Red Led

8. output buffer

9. 3pdt (for use with led)

10 ?? an adjutable torque clutch ??  I read the new Zakk Wylde has this?? how would i make this?

11. A volume mod. I seen this at Tonepad site. Im using the GGG layout so im not sure how to do this yet.

12. I want to add a fuzz circuit to this like one of the Hendrix Wahs out there, not sure how to do that though. I would be cool to have a switch to click FUZZ on or FUZZ off!!

I put some trimpots in my wah and changed some values therein also.
I typed in Wha Mods' in the search and found plenty of everything to mod wahs by.
#10...doing this DIY is going to be tough, if it's liek what I'm thinking it's a stack of bolt head, washer, 'washer connected to the treadle, washer, 'washer connected to the case...etc. by tightening the screws it works like a 'brake' making the pedal resist movement predictably...hard to do at home.
I put 2 springs on my wah, one pushes the toe down [and 'drives the pot ...the takeup tension spring] the other pulls the toe up, this is leaving a range in the center where I like to leave the wah pedal for a '%^&*ed wah' sound...if I push the toe all the way down it comes up a little bit, all the way heel it comes up some, inbetween it'll stay there.
