I see this at smallbear. How does this work? I assume you print out the desgn or ect..using a lazer printer..and then what? cut and iron over surface?

To sum it up for another info thread...you print em out, clear coat em, then cut them out. You then place them in water, and gently remove the film (with the transfer) and slide it onto the pedal. You just let it sit there and dry whilst gently pressing out the bubbles. Once this is done, you apply some decal softener to get rid of the film, and just clear over the whole thing.

Im seriously thinking about using stamps- or save and buy a lazer printer.

That's interestng, I just realized what I may have been doing wrong - like the sliding decals but they shrivel up if you have a big one. I wasn't clear coating the because the laser decals don't need a clear coat to protect the fuser.

But, I just realized that if I had been clear coating these - they might not have shriveled up on me and I would have been able to work with them better. Is that what you guys have found, that the water slide decals keep their shape with a clear coat?

They keep their shape rather well, and they look a bit uglier (thefilm of the clear coat is not all that smooth. For me, I just put them in water when the cleacoat is not *fully* (I put em in after letting dry for 4-6 hours) dry, so that when I put the finally clear coat, this coat get's dissolved, and you end up with a nice smooth finish...just my $0.02
