I just picked up a 70s EM and plugged into the ol' pedal board. I noticed a slight loss in volume and I can hear a high pitched whistle that seems to follow the oscillations of the effect. The whistle is not present all of the time and seems to show up after having the effect on for more than 10-20 seconds.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Check my posted pics somewhere on this board (will search em) and compare them to your version; I had some original mods done by EHX (free) to fix this.....

OH, BTW, is it the 9V version? because there is also a 18V version

Oh, the whistle could be due to trimpot movement. They are very delicate and can differ between sound and insanity.

Hi Bernarduur,
i'm trying to debug a 9V electric mistress based on the work of markusw. i read that i used the pictures you posted and i'd be more than grateful if you could provide a new link for them. those reported in here are dead, unfortunately (it's too late, i know)

thanks in advance
