I know this is not really related to building stomp boxes but I can't seem to find an answer to my question anywhere.

Does anyone have a Line 6 DL4? I'm sure when I first got mine it remembered the last tempo tapped in by the switch on the particular preset. Now when I change persets or switch the DL4 on and off it forgets the last tapped tempo. This is rather anoying if you want to use a particular delay in different parts of a song and have to retap in the tempo.

I asked Line 6 if it is supposed to remember taped tempos and they say it isn't but I'm sure when I first got it it did. Does anyone know?

By the way I've had nothing but problems with this pedal. The design for the switches is hopeless. It's simply a large switch with a spring that presses on a smaller switch on the PCB. The springs have bent and moved so many times. It's really unpredictable, It can bend it the middle of tapping it and the tempo will go crazy. I've ended up changing the springs for little rubber pieces in the hope they'll stay in the right place.

The pedal sounds great and has a million different options but I wouldn't recomend it to anyone. Stick to building your own stuff I say :)
