Hi

Well, you can replace the first slope resitor( 33K or 56K) in a Marshall tonestack, with a 22K resistor and 100K linear pot and you will have a crude midnotch adjustment.

Thanks man ! But is it in series or parallel with the 22K ?

BJF

Hi,
Oh, that is in series as in
remove original resistor and connect  22K to terminal 1 of 100K pot and from terminal 2 back to board.

Make sure you drain the amp from voltage before operating on it.

Marshall amps can maintain voltage inside even if power has been removed for days.

Only work under safe conditions!
