What's inside the active pickup

Hi guys what is inside one actice pickup ? I think that there are some booster with FET
I ask this question, because I must make one bass electronics with one passive P bass pickup and one active J bass all from MEC.
maybe I make ferzer from ROG, but I'm not sure now what are values of output pots in active MEC pickups
