Hello Hello--
Hmmm........seems that the "Fuzzrite" thread is dead so I thought I'd post the question here.
If the .002 caps are changed in value [moved up to .0047 or whatever] what effect would that have on the circuit??  Would it change any bias??  Change the overall sound of the circuit??  Make it not work at all???
Brian.

Series wiring of caps in signal path...larger values let more bass through.
Caps from signal path to ground...larger values will let more low frequencies pass through to ground means it's a LP filter, shunting whatever the cap lets through it to ground.

Hello Hello Pete--
So it would make the circuit a little "bassier" then stock  [and that's all]??
Thanks!
Brian.

In a gain Cct, a cap that small in the SP like input cap, would be what I'd call a treble boost or TB'ed Fuzz.
.002uf is small enough I should assume they're LP filters whatever the case if theyre rolloff caps they'll just roll off a little more highs is all, and wont kill it.
