Hello Hello--
Alright, my Acetone sounds pretty good but there is no octave effect and the "notch filter" isn't  very "notched".  Great sounding fuzz, though!
What's the deal??
Brian.

Hi Brian!

You could try the unicord superfuzz trick by lifting the 15K resistors on the bases of the complimentary pair from ground, solder each one to opposite ends of a 10K Lin. pot, and ground the wiper. Maybe it will balance the trannies and get you your octave.

Don't know why no notch. That circuit bit is identical to most superfuzzes.

edit- Or differential pair. Argh, I forget.

Hello Hello--
Thanks for that tip Dan!   So the signal can still pass through the differentail pair even though they aren't working properly??
Brian.
