2 boosts in one box- stage 1 pops

Inspired by all the talk of dual boosts in one box with seperate controls, I built one this weekend. It sounds great- I used a couple of LPB1 circuits from GGG... anyway...

My issue is that I get a nasty pop when I active the first circuit. Originally I had them one DPDTs with M.B.P.s for my LEDs. So I pulled the switch for the first circuit and replaced it with a 3PDT wired the way that GGG shows to wire a box with 2 effects. BUT I DID NOT reswitch the second circuit. I still get the pop. Should I reswitch the second (currently it works perfectly) as well to try to kill this pop, or might it be something the the actual circuit?

Thanks!

HAve you tried pulldown resistors?
Convention creates following, following creates convention.
