Hey,
Does anyone know how to construct a setup like the above mentioned?
What it does is converts a 9-12VAC input to 7x 9VDC outputs. Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated. I have included a link to check it out.

Looking at the specs of the one on general guitar gadgets, I assuming that there is no reason that I cant leave the transformer out, and build it from the rectifier onwards, whilst utilising an external transformer. If I was to put a plug before the rectifier, I could then in theory use a 9VAC external transformer. (I am thinking like the Line 6 one which is 9VAC 2000mA).
Any comments.

Absolutely. :D

Getting the transformer as far away as you can is always a good move.

Hmm, The way I have it in my head is as follows...can anyone offer any advice. (Summarised)

Input jack - 600V 10A Bridge Rectifier -- 7809 Regulator ----Output Jacks

I believe that if I was putting 9VAC in, then I should be receiving regulated 9VDC out. The reason I was to do it this was is so that when pedal boards are travelling overseas, we dont need to take power bricks out and spend hefty money on new ones and re routing power for pedals. Alternatively, just go to radio shack and get a generic power supply thats 9VAC with a high current rating. EG. Line 6: 9VAC 2A

Also, does anyone know  how to go about protecting each output against any sort of hum or buzz from other pedals? Will this be an issue?
Any thoughts or views.. -Rob
