Good builds, Magnus and tubelectron! Nice projects.

Here's one from me, the new version of my Banana Fuzz, hope you like it:

Regards,
Fernando.-

WOW  :icon_eek: Got me inspired. Thanks Fernando!

Magnus

Hello,
QuoteFor sure ! Your "wood-plated" box is awsome - The glueing has probably been tough to made regular, with no humps or cracks.
Thank you  :)
Yes it was a torture to finish it!

Your "Magic Box" is great, nice graphic and guts  ;)

QuoteGood builds, Magnus and tubelectron! Nice projects.
Thank you too  :)

I have seen the first version of your "Banana Fuzz" some more pages back
and this is a very beautyfull pedal, I really love the etching and I think
there was a sound sample on Youtube I listened too - sounded fantastic as I remember!

@nocentelli:
What kind of Tone Bender is it?
I see 4 transistors, I really don't know...

@darron:
Great design, looks very difficult to realize...

Greetings
Magnus

Hi thomeeque,

QuoteHi! Pin 6 of uncommitted IC2 should be connected to VCC/2 (instead of ground) for optimal termination (more here). T.

Thanks for this useful information - I am specialized in tubes, so...

For info, I copied my (bad) uncommited IC connection from a stock DOD 250 !

A+!
I apologize for my approximative english writing and understanding !

Damn guys i keep missing all these builds cos im not getting e-mail alerts!  :-\ however they are all brilliant, magnus, john, slade and tubeelectron i doubt ill ever match the quality of finish you guys get but heres the guts of my finished buffered bypass box that i posted a few pages back. now featuring a buffered output courtesy of jack ormans super buffer, an on/off switch and tidier wiring. Its the prototype for my distertation which will feature flexable patching of three buffers, a bypass all switch, a A/B input and, 7 loops and switching with relays instead of mechanical switches.

Hey! I just finished a first prototype of the "feeder", feedbacklooper.
It's got a lot of features and tricks to make it more 'musical'. Still have loads of ideas  to try out. Very fun to play around with!

Sorry about the bad photos! / Jonas, Sweden

Wow, really? Interesting! Well, they say that it's "the most common mistake made when terminating an uncommitted op amp." :icon_mrgreen: Cheers, T.

Thanks for the comments on the Banana Fuzz, it's great that you like it :icon_biggrin:
@roseblood11, sorry no gutshots for this one.

Here's a "Gilmour Waves" (Echo Waves 2) I've just finished. Nice floydian sounds from this box...

Heres a custom ermm......sorry, but......burst box?? :o. To avoid legal issues from Jack White ive called it a 'manual stutter'  ;)

Built with a momentary dpdt switch that when pressed allows the audio through and also turns the base LED on, which will be cool for live shows as he does electronic music with MIDI, abelton and his laptop. It can also be bypassed with the toggle switch and the Extra LED in the bezel shows when the effect is engaged.

Heres his music anyway http://seams.bandcamp.com/album/a-juvenile-rush

cool box, kneale, but why the 9v? can't LEDs run off 1.5V AAs? Or is the voltage too low

(and yes, if we post often, it'll put some pressure on the competition builders  ;) )

Yeah no problem, The only battery snap i had lying around was a 9v one so i used that and i think it has helped make it a more pro finish. Also i thought that it may last longer with a 9v.

Thanks

I'm interested in your "upside-down" board.  Are you using top-soldered vero or are you just using it like bare perfboard?  If top-mounted, then do you find an advantage?
