What enclosure are are using? Your builds look really nice, top quality!
Steve

I'm using some kind of RACO system that we found easily here in Brazil.

Oh, was wondering because the edges are really rounded more than an MXR style box. The extra roundness make them look even cooler and unique. Is the top labeling a plastic transparency or decal?

It's plastic transparency with some cristal clear coat.

and yes, the extra roundness is cool  :icon_cool:

Where's the Party At? 8-bit sampler/looper/glitch machine. I posted a build report here, to explain what it is/does.

Hi Mike, love your graphics! May I ask you what kind of process do you follow to make them?

Hey thanks for the kind words. My friend Tim does all my graphics work for me using Illustrator.

When I started out making pedals properly I sent him scans of everything like pots, knobs, jacks and switches along with their measurements, so we can come up with layouts that will fit in enclosures.

He does the layouts and gives me a drilling guide that I print on paper and masking tape to the enclosure for drilling.

Then afterwards I sand, prime and paint the case before laying the decal sticker, which is printed onto self adhesive clear label paper. Then I clearcoat. Any photo realistic stuff we do is on a white painted case to provide back light.

I use this stuff.

It is a bit involved but you can do all kinds of killer graphics with it. The gold is actually hologram. The guy is way cool too. If he likes your pictures he sends you $20 bucks worth of product.:icon_biggrin:  One part of the process uses a paper similar to pnp but it works like water-slide decals. I used it for this board for Frequency Central's Little Angel.

Thank you very much for the kind words!

That's a great graphic. What did you use?

Thanks :)

It's not my current line of work, but I'm a Flash designer by trade so I use a combination of that & Photoshop for most things.

Skruffyhound

Yeah, I just commented in the Gristlelizer thread, but once again, I'm really liking that graphic 1878

Slade

Really beautiful Griestlizer, 1878!

Here's my last, it's a Boss Fet Amplifier clone. Basically a vintage booster with active baxandall tone control, can get a nice overdrive at high volume settings. The design is a mix of modern and vintage art.

Fernando.-

Haha, Slade--every time you post saying, "Here's my last...", I get all nervous, thinking, "Is he no longer building effects!?"

I would say it as, "Here's my latest...", or "Here's my most recent..."

I love that there are so many people here that speak/write English as a second language--it leaves so much room to see fun differences among languages. :)

Back on topic, I like the finish on this one--very simple, and a lovely color.

Yeah, the guy speaks awful English, you have to communicate with him in Spanish if you want to get anywhere. Like this:

¿Por qué un baño de Slade tiene un grifo en cada extremo? ¡Para mantener el cloruro férrico parejo!

But that really is his last pedal, he's given it all up to become a Buddhist monk I heard.
