Ah, the Eye of Horus. Very cool. I was gonna use that in a design for my compressor clone until I went with a Spartan warrior instead.

Well, actually the left eye is the Eye of Ra, and the right eye is the Eye of Thoth, both together are the Eyes of Horus.............did you know ? neither did I

The Iris should be the 5 mm LED bezel........10 mm would have been overkill 

BTW had to use 10k resistors to tame down that brightness.......the first time I engaged the compressor I almost go blind........ suberbright LED's are cool for lighting, not for pedals, I'm back to good ol' regular LED's

Sorry for the offtopic, there's some killer designs in this thread........ some people here should be making a living out of this, honestly.

i like a bit of good old fashioned retina destruction ...when the pedal doent work you can use it as a lamp...

I think that looks neat. You could line the inside with black paper or plastic to keep
a similar appearance and keep out dust, critters  etc.  

or coloured transparencies/lighting gel with an internal led

Just might have to try that since I haven't put an LED onto the circuit yet! Thanks for the kind words guys. Added a 1M feedback knob to the circuit today that totally takes it over the top. Now for this LED business!
