found this WWII era navy battle lantern in my stepdad's garage. turned it into a ruby amp.






i liked the current, banged up paintjob, so i left that. i also reused the existing toggle switch after cleaning up some pretty heavy corrosion on it. the wiring is also neater than it looks...

i considered something bigger, but when i connect my 10" speaker in my marshall it gets louder than i need.

1590a Woolly Mammoth
Outside controls = Output, EQ and Bass switch
Inside set'n'forget = Pinch/gate and Wool/Fuzz

Was my first go at a 1590a, was like starting building all over again...phew!

anyway Noticed the last two posters in the 1590A thread also posted here and since my latest one posted today isn't a 1590A I'll post here too.

Lard Boost #2
I did a second one got a gutshot this time so might as well post it.
Changed a few values and used better components.
Its a Demeter Fat Control + a couple of components.

Nice to have some flavours of boosts. useful to cut through when using a OCD instead of tubescreamer etc.

Oh and sorry it's a just half as big as a 1590A   but there is no tinytiny-thread

I finally finished debugging my automatic Crybaby, and etched a control plate for it.

Basically, it's the envelope section from the meat-themed pedals, hacked into the crybaby w/ an LED/LDR. The footswitch is made in a fence post cap.

It works pretty well. It doesn't go quite as high as I want it, but I can get some really nice effects out of it.

Only the control plate picture is new.
