No, no, no. I meant, do you tin the copper traces before you paint?

No, just eatching the copper side as default process then I paint the PCB.

I decided to learn how to use Eagle, and I wanted to try getting a few boards made by BatchPCB. In retrospect, I would do a few things differently but I am generally happy with how it came out.

Andrew.

Andrew, can you expand a little on your experience with BatchPCB?  Maybe in the main forum?

I check out their FAQ and it is an interesting idea.  I have a stack of boards in Eagle that would be nice to have made.

Oh, okay. Dang, just looks so clean and effortless. Any problems with flux cleanup?

Russian Bikini Ranger? What design is this? Looks fun. :D

@ Azrael
It's a rangemaster (with range control) + 'bikini muff' (Triangle specs, minus tone stack and Q4) both run with an IC for positive ground. I did the layout myself :D

azrael

Oh nice! All germanium, too...yum. Have you done any clips?

D+ into Vibracaster.

Hee! When you push the button, the robot's tummy lights up.

Goes from Vibracaster old-schoolyness to squeeling feedbacky oscillation.
Aaaaaaaawesome!

Welcome to my wiring hell.....

I think it looks BEAUTIFUL!
It looks vintage, and made my a human.

My favorite pawn shop electronics finds are a mess of spaghetti tangle inside, and still sound great 40 years on.

Just finished my Echo Base PCB build. I'm in love with silverburst, so i decided to give it a try on a pedal since this one is big enough. Turned out so-so, but pretty cool none-the-less!
