it was a f*ckin pain since I'm not a camera wiz. I set it to night photo, then held a bright light on the circuit for a couple minutes, turned the light out and quickly shot it with my hand as steady as possible...

oh man. the possibilities. through in some UV Leds and you've got a masterpiece.

I don't want to be self-righteous, whiny or bossy, but I find it a little irritating to scroll through picture-quotes. Does anyone else? Once somebody posts their pics, can we just reference them by name and post? Otherwise half the page or more ends up as repeats of picture posts within quotes. Sorry if this comes off as insulting or something, just a suggestion.

haha...I was joking about the solder. With a very fine brush, I actually painted most of the solder trails, switch connections & edges of jacks, etc with a near clear (it goes on milky white, but dries clearer) glow-in-the-dark paint.  The hard thing was finding that paint since most of the glow paints are green, pink or purple.

I'd rather have the referenced picture(s) right there in the post then to have to go back and forth between maybe a couple pages to grasp and see what's being talked about. If there's been  contnuous referencing to a single original post, you're right there's no point, butif there's been a break or new page i'd find it helpful for a quote.  In any case it takes nothing to zip on past the redundant eye candy.

Far more annoying are oversized pictures that would fill a couple screens, i just skip right over them.

to Dave: it is easy to click on the quotation link an you there right in the original post, then click back and you back to where you where. I do use this way.
