What's your method for the slide switch holes?  I always have to use my dremel to rough-cut it and then come back and do a lot of filing to square it up. Please don't say lasers

i know there are drill-bits made to do square and rectangle holes. i saw them in professional stores in france, and online (on the Würth website if i recall correctly). i believe they are pretty expensive and rare...

as far as i can remember, they have a very weird shape. looks like there are some videos on youtube about this, try "square hole drill bit" and you should find information and images!

Yep   I managed to find the second video from that page on youtube a few minutes after Frances mentioned it.
It looks like you HAVE to have a special milling machine to use it.

No, it's not a laser cut I made it exactly how you describe - micro miller, and then corners with file. Actually there is no need for micro miller at all. All job you can do with files only. It's just take a bit longer time.

Yo! Here's an Orange Squeezer using the tagboardeffects vero layout. Sounds f'n clean, cleaner than my GGG board I remember... Absolutely no distortion, but havent messed with the trimmer much Don't need to. Superb layout.

I used a 1n914 diode instead of a 1n34a with no problems.

Right as I hit the sweet spot on the trim, I pulled out the flathead and off came the top white part. Oops.

Had to flip around my transistors.. oops again.

Experimental enclosure. Other than that, a fun and great sounding build.

Just a little counter punch to all the pedal jabs we usually get here. We've got pedals... now how about some power....

Geofex Spyder times two, in one box. They're upgrading all the PLC comms at work, and I managed to score a nice Modicon Modbus repeater. Everything is mounted on one big vero board.















We will now return to normal pedal programming.

i think you're going to need a dedicated circuit breaker if you plan on using all those transformers with full current draw. did they need to be THAT big?

your pedals will never be hungry again.

That's one beast of a power supply, nicely done. I've got most of the bits gathered to put a smaller-scale Spyder of my own together but am unsure what to do about fusing, was wondering how you went about fusing the circuit(s)?
